At Ellie V Pullin our educators have passion, creativity and a wealth of experience. Our university-trained educators plan and deliver quality programs which reflect their specialist knowledge of child development.
All educators have current First Aid, CPR and EpiPen/Anaphylaxis training. Our educators are approachable and available to talk to parents about any problems or concerns that may arise.
4 year old Teacher - Olivia
My name is Olivia, and I began working at Ellie V. Pullin Pre-School in 2017. I completed my Master of Teaching in 2015, and I was lucky enough to spend 2 months on placement at Ellie V. Pullin in 2014. Although quite new to the teaching profession, I am extremely passionate about early childhood, and have lots of experience with my two beautiful children. I aim to create an inclusive environment where all children are afforded opportunities to extend on their strengths and interests. Through a play based program, we experience spontaneous, enjoyable and meaningful play, with the intention to create learners for life.
4 year old Assistant - Melissa
My name is Melissa and I am the Assistant Educator in Apple Berries Group. I live locally, in fact my daughters Maddy and Laura were both in Red Group many years ago. I am studying to be an Early Childhood Teacher - I’m about half way there! I also have an Integration Aide qualification and have spent the last 8 years working in primary schools assisting children with special needs.
After completing a placement at EVP I realised Early Childhood was the setting most aligned to my own personal beliefs and philosophies about education. I love to be outside and incorporate environmental awareness into daily learning activities. I believe children learn through hands-on experiences, allowing them to wonder, investigate and build their own knowledge whilst being challenged by a supportive and intentional learning program.
3 year old Teacher -
My name is Kerrin. I have been teaching Early Childhood children for over 35 years in a variety of settings. I am married to Rob and have two beautiful children Samantha and Thomas. I am passionate about quality preschool. I love creating colourful, exciting play spaces, and I aspire each session to plan and deliver a program that encourages the children's curiosity and joy in participating. I have been at EVP Preschool for four years and I love working with the 3's at the beginning of their education journey.
3 year old Assistant -
My name is Selina and I joined the Ellie.V.Pullin team in 2017. I completed my Certificate III in Children's Services in 2012 and Certificate of Education Support – Integration Aide/Teacher Aide in 2014.
I love working with children to develop their strengths and love watching them grow into independent learners. I feel it is both a pleasure and a privilege to be part of their early education journey. My interests include travelling with my husband and two children, gardening and cooking for family and friends.
4 year old Assistant - Andrea
My name is Andrea, I commenced at EVP Preschool in January 2013.
I’m married and have two amazing children Keely and Zac. I've lived in Ringwood all my childhood, but moved to Lilydale after I got married. My brother used to actually do Ellie V Pullin’s gardening every 2nd Sunday when we were teens, she was a beautiful lady, very kind, great laugh on her and knew how to tell a good story.
Some of my favourite things to do include walking my 2 dogs (and enjoying a walk on my own too!), baking, colouring, gardening and I had always been heavily involved with Mullum Primary School Parents association up until this year when my youngest started high school, although I still attend functions held by Mullum Primary as we still have a lot of friends there and it’s a great community to be involved with.
4 year old Assistant and Extended Care Educator- Vanessa
My name is Vanessa and I first began working at Ellie V. Pullin Pre-School in 2017. I completed my Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care in 2016. I am an Assistant Educator in Apple Berry Group and also the Educator for our Extended Care program.
Kindergarten is an exciting time for children and I am privileged to be part of the journey of watching them grow and explore their world.
I enjoy spending time with my two beautiful daughters and getting out and about exploring. I love to cook, garden and checking out good op shops for my next creative project.
